How can I be active if I have no time in my day?

Lack of time is a major reason people aren’t physically active.  You can easily fit activity into your daily schedule by trying these suggestions: climb the stairs instead of taking the elevator, do yard work and housework, and take short, 10-minute walks several times a day.  Also, limit the amount of time you spend watching television.  Instead, use that time to go for a walk or exercise with a DVD.  When you do watch TV, don’t just sit there; march in place during commercials or use some light hand weights or an exercise band to work your arms and legs.  It can also help to schedule time for your activity in your calendar or appointment book.  By doing this, you’re less likely to find reasons to not be active.
