I'm having nausea and vomiting, what can I eat?

If you’re unable to keep any solids or liquids down, notify your healthcare provider.  If you’re able to keep liquids down, take 8 ounces of fluid every 1 to 2 hours to prevent dehydration; alternate sipping sugar-free fluids one hour with fluids containing sugar the next hour.  Try eating soft foods like rice, fruit gelatin, or pudding.  Remember, the body needs glucose or sugar for fuel even when you’re sick, so you should eat regular or non-diet puddings and gelatin, etc if you’re unable to tolerate the foods you usually eat.
