Our educational programs are an opportunity for you to be able to learn more about various aspects of your conditions and ask questions to our dedicated team.

A three-day program designed to help people with Diabetes understand their condition and Diabetes treatment; focusing in particular on how medications play a role into overall care; the program also covers treatment for related Diabetes disorders such as hypertension and dyslipidemia and  an insulin injection technique and blood glucose monitoring clinical skills workshop.

A two-hour program designed to help people with Diabetes and dyslipidemia learn how to improve their lipid levels and other cardiovascular risk factors through better food choices, physical activity, and medications. 

A two-hour program designed to help people with Diabetes and high blood pressure learn how to control their blood pressure and other cardiovascular risk factors through better food choices, physical activity, and medications. 

A two-hour program designed to enhance general awareness about Diabetes-related foot problems, as well as provide strategies to prevent and manage these problems in a safe and effective manner.

A two-hour program designed to help people with Diabetes identify risk factors for developing diabetic eye disease, and be able to explain the different eye diseases that may affect people with Diabetes and how to appropriately manage them. In addition, this program will help participants recognize the different preventive measures to reduce the risks of developing eye disease.

A two-hour program designed to enhance the general awareness of people with Diabetes about issues regarding Diabetes and Hajj, as well as traveling in general.

Joint program with Nutrition Department, Dasman Diabetes Institute

A two-hour program designed to enhance the general awareness of people with Diabetes in regards to issues related to fasting in Ramadan and Diabetes. 

Participants can attend an optional healthy cooking workshop lead by Dasman’s Nutrition Department.
